S is for Sheer.

The Letter S.

 The hound dog is figuring it out, "when Camera comes out, we sit for pictures and if I am really good I get a nice yummy treat, I can do this I can do this" 

The funniest part is we don't call her over or make her sit, she just does it now.

I need to apologize for my lack of blogging and for the pictures this time. Husband was gone at work and I was left up to my own "creativity" to get a picture of my SHEER top, well you actually can not even tell its sheer, BUT it is I promise. I have had that top for almost 6 years, and have not worn it much, maybe only 3 times but I do like it and enjoyed the complete outfit.

Pants & Belt- JC Pennies / Sheer top- White House Black Market/ Scarf & Sweeter- Target 

Also Did the Letter Q- Q is for Quickie. 

 I am not a "lets take pictures first thing in the morning...the ground is frozen everyone is asleep its only 7am and I am leaving kind of girl" but you do what you have to do...so half the pictures I look very angry in and that is simply not the case I am just not fully awake yet. This is a very simple outfit for me not a lot of thinking.. throw on a skirt and boots and bam you are ready for work. *my tights are purple but you cant tell....SAD.

I think that I have gone through enough personal change in the last 3 weeks to last me years...I have never felt more excited, scared, unsure, entering uncharted waters, emotional BUT more rewarded, fulfilled, sure that my God knows what He is doing in my life then I do when i trust Him with all my decisions. I had a great weekend. I took care of my house....I mean DEEP cleaned. I took care of my hound dog, we walked all weekend, we played outside, she cuddled on the couch with us last night, even though she weighs 70 pounds she still likes to be close to us, can you say "Lap Dog":?! Took care of the husband, we watched movies, we talked, we walked, we took naps...it was a wonderful weekend. Now a great week ahead is to come.

     It was surprisingly hard to get dressed this morning...I own approximately three items that are Jewel Tone and I am wearing all three of them!! But I did enjoy wearing things I wouldn't normally put together and very much liked the combo!

The weekending includes the following for husband and myself, two meetings to attend nice and early Saturday morning, work for husband, dinner with 3 of my greatest girls , Church, two more meetings Sunday Afternoon, maybe a little nap in there somewhere! Here is to a busy but GREAT weekend.

White in January

I is for Inspired by.

I get my inspiration from a lot of amazing bloggers who are rocking the fashion scene  and also from this lady Her name is Amanda and her blog is color me blue fashion. 

I did feel a little out of place wearing white in January but I just went for it!

And I have to throw in the cutest picture of my hound dog and her first experience of snow.

We don't get snow often and this was the amount we got and nothing stuck, but she was not having it...too cold and wet to play with me, she finished this game with running inside !

Happy Thursday my friends, Tomorrow is letter J! I have a feeling getting dressed tomorrow will be hard for me. Also I am changing up the hair...it is time, oh Monday I can not wait! I think I want something completely different.

Awkward.

-Most of these poses. I mean really??! Come on Nicole learn how to pose and take pictures or no more . period.

- Getting to wear your shirt inside out one day this week because of our schools spirit week and new people coming in to the school and I look like I don't know how to put my cloths on.

-Making a trip to the grocery store buying: puppy treats (3 kinds for her training) Dog bones (she needs the big ones, no puppy size for her) dog food, and a dog brush. Getting home to remember you needed people food or you and your husband will starve by tomorrows dinner. Opps I guess I care a little too much about the puppy.

-The weather man saying we would get 4-8 inches of snow only to wake up to about 10inches of water and rain. No Mr. weather man we are in a flood state not a winter snow storm...sorry buddy.

-Driving through puddles that have flooded the road and now could be considered new rivers , too late to turn around , too late to stop just power through and realize you had your eyes closed while you drove through the river.

  Awesome

- Taking said puppy to her first Obedience School and she rocked it. I know most moms (and yes that should go under Awkward, i just called myself her mom, I am aware) say their dog's / kids are the best at all things but I was prepared for an unruly dog, just out of control, smelling everything, jumping, barking, going crazy....and she didn't. She didn't obey first time but she learned and came into line, I was very impressed. Even the teacher used her as an example and did okay!

-watching a movie on tv with no commercials with husband..

-Wearing outfits that cost under 40.00 from head to toe!

-Working through tough and hard situations and knowing that God will never leave me or give me more then I can handle and will be by my side through it all.

ABC's of Style.

 Today is C for Celebrity (outfit) Look A Like.

*I work at a school and we are having A Spirit Week for our Homecoming this Friday (time to get the school pumped up!). So The staff and the kids all get to dress up (AKA get to wear jeans if we participate), so today is Hat and Sunglasses day, I managed to work that into my Abc's so I could do both. Its weeks like this that makes me love my job! How fun to dress up all week and love life like a teenager would! 

How much do you love Sydney ? And then there is the Beautiful Kourtney Kardashian. Love both of their style and fashion!!

Wednesday-

Ironically this is the same hat that Sydney from The Daybook has on in the picture above, I guess we both hit the Urban outfitters sale at the same time!!
